Emily is a TurtleIsland (Canadian) born, South Africa-raised settler. She spends time communing, cooking, making music, mending clothes, and listening to stories. She has engaged for some time in popular education and communitybirthed/rooted solutions to social injustice. In the midst of her MSc in Organizational Change at The Schools of Public Engagement (The New School), she is interested in facilitation of deep dialogue, conflict negotiation, antioppressive praxis and coalition building among crosssector stakeholders.
